One of my favorite things about late summer is all the butterflies, so I’ve been inspired to paint a few of my own for some jewelry that’ll be perfect now right through fall!

The wonderful lighting of these autumn mornings is irresistible to me – every day I see something that inspires me on my way to work. Usually I sigh and just keep driving but this morning I stopped when I saw the mist over Lake Springfield and took a few shots.
I was a few minutes late for work, but it was worth it!
